I'm fairly certain there is zero reason to ever go to Perry Florida. Especially if it would mean going out of your way to get there. Except Johnson's bakery. And I'm talking specifically about the heaven pillows they serve masquerading as donuts. Really outstanding. If you're in Florida for any reason, weather in the keys or the panhandle, do yourself a favor and make sure this is part of your trip😁

Fresh made doughnuts every day, and you can taste the difference! Delicious and worth the drive, considering its 30 mins away.

A Perry original, Johnson's looks very modern and chic look it but has been open since the 50's and somehow still makes better donuts then just about anywhere. They also, rather unexpectedly, have by far the best burger you'll find within 60 miles.

Best donuts and cake in town

Grabbed lunch today and the food was delicious. The seasoned fries were so good and the chicken bacon ranch wrap was amazing too. We also got some cookies which were yummy! Will definitely come back if I'm around the area. Staff was very polite and friendly as well!

I went today for coffee and donuts. Both were delicious. But the worker who was taking care of us was very rude and made me feel like I was wasting her time. She also overcharged us and didn't provide the correct amount of donuts. This was my first time here and I was very excited, but I left annoyed.

Mandatory stop on any road trip through Northern Florida. Fantastic little bakery with great glazed doughnuts, huge turnovers, apple fritters and so much more continuously refilling the counter display case.

Simply one if the best doughnuts you can eat. I've been going here for over 30 years. For all intensive purposes, IMHO, they have perfected the doughnut. Worth the stop to get an amazing doughnut or just a dessert. Great atmosphere, great service. Just go and you won't be dissapointed.

Awesome food, atmosphere, and staff!

Family-run, local bakery, where you can tell they take pride in serving a quality product. We try to make it a point to stop in for "real" doughnuts (not the pre-made, chain-based stuff that's the only thing around us) whenever we visit family in the area. They're well known for making a great, glazed doughnut...get there early.

Excellent mom and pop bakery, since 1954. I saw grandmas in the kitchen making all the goodies. Doughnuts are the best. Worth the 60 mile drive from Tallahassee. Make sure to take a dozen donuts back.

Awesome food, polite and welcoming staff...I will definitely be back! I highly recommend you stop here if you're traveling through. Well worth the stop.

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! The staff is always great and of course the food is fantastic! It's awesome to have a gem like this in our small town of Perry. The only thing I hate is they close kinda early I just wish they had longer hours and that's just me being selfish. You won't be disappointed by coming here

Best donuts I've ever had, hands down! And I'm not talking about donuts with all kinds of crazy toppings (which they have), I'm talking about simple glazed donuts where there is nothing to cover up the quality of the product. If you are lucky enough to get them while they are warm you will positively swoon.

Grew up going here before school everyday . Love the pecan cinnamon rolls, the glazed donuts , the apple fritters and homemade gingerbread and the homemade burgers during lunch time.

Literally hitting the sweet spot since 1954, if you haven’t had Johnson’s you haven’t had a REAL doughnut

The donuts are delicious!! But the person serving us was rude and kept checking her watch the whole time she was servicing us. We got 2 dozens and while I was there, I asked her how many we got and she said "you got enough." Once I got to my car, I only counted 11 each. I would come back for the donuts, but I did not care for her attitude.
